Cross Of Malta

History shows that the Cross of Malta, the emblem of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, is 1,000 years old. Nearly ten centuries ago the Maltese Cross was made the symbol of fighting men who were united by a solemn pledge of comradeship to fight for freedom and to aid the sick and the needy. Those ancient obligations are still symbolized by the Cross of Malta today, for the more than two million former servicemen who are the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Cross of Malta is the symbol of their battles in time of war and of their campaign to defend the God given rights of human beings in time of peace. The Cross of Malta symbolizes the compassion, or sympathy, of those men and women for the needy. It is the sign of services which our contemporary veterans render to help make living a little better for everyone. (Click Here)

A daily though for our U.S. armed forces men and woman and our country.

May God's love surround, enfold and enwrap all our service men and woman who are now serving both at home and aboard. As our troops and friends stand and fight bravely with honor and valor for freedom and peace for all of us here at home and thought out the world. Oh God give them the strength, wisdom and  power to be victorious against these enemies and evil forces. May God's love, peace and healing presents be with the injured, wounded. Lift up and be with all those killed in action. Release and be with the prisoners of war, and find and be with the missing in action. Heal and be with all veterans who have served and comfort there families. Oh God please answer our prayers, as we await those away from home, so they may have a safe and happy welcome return home.       With this we all give great thanks.

God Bless The United States of America.
